Our inspirations derived from a timeless tradition. Back in the early 70′s, in a small town (Cofradia Cortes) of Honduras, The Pradron cigar factory, opened for business after being expelled from the communist Cuba. This famous, well established premium Cigar Factory, inspired thousands of native artisan rollers to pursue their dreams of becoming professional cigar makers.
The Padron factory not only employed but also educated the rollers to master their skills in the art of blending and rolling tobacco. The popularity of the factory motivated a young lady (Estela) of just 15 years old to join the factory. In just three years, Estela had become known as a talented master roller.
In pursuit of her dreams, with three sons and the skills of her artistic hands, she immigrated to the U.S.A.; Settling in Florida. Estela found work at the Gloria Cubana Factory, where she worked for years. Aiming higher, with hard work, dedication and sacrifice, she had saved enough money to proudly open her own small factory under the name of Flor de Gonzalez. Life rewarded Estela with having two of her sons inherit the art of cigar making, from her. Her sons worked at the family factory, from adolescence years learning the skills and trade of the business.
It did not take long for the talented boys to get discovered by Wedding & Event planners and companies seeking for cigar rolling entertainment. With a healthy and trendy industry, the increasing demand for cigar entertainment companies, was the motivating factor behind Stella’s sons to create a parallel company offering the family tradition in the name of On-Site Cigar Entertainment. On-Site Cigars has the sincere commitment to provide the premium Tobacco for their Cigars & the most talented Torcedores that the industry can offer.rs entertainment. It did not take long for Estela’s two sons to become popular in the Events & Wedding industry. Our Supporting Cast is composed of Stela’s two sons [Carlos & Walter], they both oversee manufacture & operations.
The other part of the equation is Rene O. Diaz which handles all the administrative and marketing part of the business. Carlos & Walter have worked in the family Cigar Factory for 16 years acquiring a wealth of knowledge in buying, blending and rolling premium long leaf Cigars. Although the brothers are different, they both share their mother’s talent in rolling cigars. Through the years they have performed in over 500 shows.
Rene on the other hand, has over 20 years of services in the Hotel industry, having held key positions such as Restaurant manager and Director of Catering, with a diverse gama of Hotel styles, ranging from Beach Resorts, Executive Airport Hotels and Luxury 5 Star Hotels. Specializing in Catering and Banquets, Rene has acquired the knowledge to plan, coordinate and execute a successful event for any occasion at all levels.
With attention to details, flexibility, dedication and passion, Rene will make your event planning a comfortable, stress-free, enjoyable journey.
Traveling is inevitable for us, due to the fact that we only work with Authentic Master Cigar Rollers that are currently working at a Cigar Factory.
Reputable tabaqualeras/cigar houses will tell you, that there is no other way to acquire the necessary skills and experience to master the art of Cigar making, a standard that should not be overlooked at time of booking your event.
It is common knowledge that Cigar Factories are not easily available throughout the USA even in the tobacco states.Florida is one of the main states where you can find Tobacco & Cigars culture, history and manufacturing.
We do not work with freelance, inexperienced “self-taught” amateur rollers that claim to be in every major US city. Our master Rollers [tabaqueros/torcedores] go through a very selective hiring process. We require, among other things, for a Roller to have a minimum of 10 years of experience rolling Premium Cigars.
